General Information

Location: The 2026 EIS Short Course will be held at the Windsor Suites Philadelphia at 1700 Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The classroom and lab locations will be provided at check-in. This is an exceptional venue that will facilitate communication and interaction. The class size will be limited to 16, so please register as soon as possible. Remember that your registration is not complete until payment is received.

Lodging: Lodging is available at the Windsor Suites Philadelphia. A special rate of $149.00 per night has been arranged for those registering before October 10, 2026.  For hotel reservations, call 215.981.5678, option 1. Please identify the EIS Short Course Block when making your reservation to receive this special rate.

The Windsor Suites Philadelphia is located in Center City Philadelphia on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.  The hotel features a fitness center, and all rooms with kitchens, refrigerators and complimentary Wi-Fi. The hotel is in within walking distance to numerous art and cultural venues such as The Philadelphia Museum of Art, Comcast Center and Rittenhouse Square. The hotel is a 3-minute walk from the Suburban SEPTA station, a 9-minute walk from the Pennsylvania Convention Center and a 12-minute walk from Reading Terminal.

Travel: Philadelphia is easily accessible via air travel through the Philadelphia International Airport. All trains from the Philadelphia airport run through the center city with two train exits close to the Convention Center, Suburban and Jefferson. Please ask your hotel which exit is most convenient. If you are traveling on Amtrak, it arrives at 30th Street.

Attractions: The Reading Terminal Market, which has many restaurants and shops, is located adjacent to the Convention Center to the south. Philadelphia’s Chinatown is on the east side of the Convention Center, and two blocks west is the Benjamin Franklin Parkway where many of the city’s museums are located. Other attractions in the city include the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall in old city, the Schuylkill River trail which extends over 20 miles from Philadelphia north past Valley Forge, and a wealth of dining options at all price points.

Cancellations made after October 6, 2026, will not be refunded. However, an alternate participant may be substituted. Cancellations made before October 6 will be refunded less $350 for processing.
